Zia understands that digital learning calls upon students to become more autonomous learners. The online/remote and digital classroom has brought about both new opportunities and challenges. It has become increasingly clear that teachers need tools and strategies to understand and address the needs of students.
Students who participate in our program develop critical self-awareness, regulation, and advocacy skills along with executive functioning skills such as decision making, time and task managment, and goal setting skills. Students are given opportunities to gain these critical competencies within a program that exposes them to real-world scenarios and provides critical college and career readiness skills.
